EspressoPeople hopes you have found this guide useful in helping you make your own decision about what grinder is best for your needs and wants. If you've read through the guide, we're confident you will be able to make the right choice, but just in case you're still not sure, we offer you the following recommendations.

If you are a...

French Press (press pot) drinker: you can certainly get by with the la Pavoni PA grinder. These will do a good grind for this particular brewing method, and their price is hard to beat.

Filter drip coffee drinker: The Capresso models and la Pavoni PA grinder can suit this type of brewing method.

Vacuum brewer coffee drinker: The Baratza grinders are all greatly suited for this exiting but demanding method of brewing coffee. A consistent grind is a must for vac pot coffee, and these machines can deliver it.

Moka Stove Top drinker: Again, the Baratza grinders will suit this brewing method well. Moka coffee requires a fine grind, a bit coarser than espresso grind, and the lower budget grinders cannot evenly produce this kind of grind. The Maestro gets a particular nod for the extra fine level of grinding it can perform.

Budget minded all purpose coffee drinker: If price is the primary concern but you want to cover every brewing method from press pot to drip and vacuum brewed coffee, you can get by with the la Pavoni or Capresso models we sell. If you add espresso to the mix, we recommend a grinder like the Baratza Maestro, which is very versatile and offers an extremely wide range of grinds. You get 85% or more of the performance of a Rancilio Rocky, but at half the cost.

Espresso drinker: You can get by with the Baratza Virtuoso as an espresso grinder, it does the job very well. Our recommended choice is the Rancilio Rocky or Gaggia MDF grinders, if you also want to occasionally grind for other brewing methods. If you primary drink is espresso and nothing but espresso, give the Innova line a serious look - the level of fineness control is completely unsurpassed, allowing you tweaking and tuning opportunities none of our other grinders are capable of offering.

I want it all drinker: The Pasquini Moka is one of the best grinders available today for the home market. If you want anything better, get ready to shell out some major dollars for a full blown, full sized commercial machine. The Moka has the engineering and materials and build to make it last a lifetime in home or small office use. It's our ultimate grinder.

Wrapup

No matter which grinder you go for, or what type of coffee drinker you are, we think it's important to stress that the place you buy it from and the after sales service you get is as important as the grinder itself. Whether you buy from a local shop, or from an online vendor (such as our company), make sure you buy with confidence, and make sure that the company stands behind the product.

EspressoPeople stands behind every grinding product we sell, and we wouldn't carry the products if we didn't think they could do the job. Once you decide on which grinder you want, we hope to provide you the peace of mind in after sales service and support, should you ever need it.
