Never waste half a pot of coffee again!  This single serving coffee maker is efficient, simple to operate, and perfect for the home or office. With a brewing system that dispenses coffee directly into your expectant cup, there’s no carafe or hot plate for you to clean. The SS-1 Cup-O-Matic Single Serving Coffee Maker is fully compatible with both ground coffee and coffee pods. To brew, remove the brew cup and place your coffee in the brew basket inside of the brew cup. A slide lock keeps the brew basket in place.

Brewing Options: Pods or Ground?
Coffee pods are pre-measured and ground single servings of coffee. They cut down on any mess because you no longer have to measure out coffee scoops or grind beans. They stay fresh for long periods of time, and are available in different flavors and blends. It’s up to you whether you want to brew using pods or ground coffee. Simply place pods or grounds in the brew basket, select either the “pod” or “grnd” button on the machine, and press the “brew” button.

Brewing Options: Strength and Size
Whether you’re brewing with pods or ground coffee, the SS-1 offers many options. Below the “pod” and “grnd” buttons are 2 brew strength options – “reg” or “bold.” Below the brew strength options are volume buttons, with the choice of a 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz cup. Press the buttons corresponding to the drink size and strength you prefer, and press the “brew” button.

Removable Drip Tray
The stainless steel drip tray is removable for easy cleaning, as well as to accommodate larger cups up to 170mm (6.7 in) tall. To clean, wash in warm soapy water, or place on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Water Reservoir
This 60 oz reservoir allows you to brew multiple cups of coffee without having to refill it each time. When it’s time to refill, the machine will alert you. You can flip open the water reservoir cover, or remove the reservoir using the handle and fill at the sink. The reservoir is dishwasher safe, or you can wash it by hand in warm, soapy water.

Water Filter
The included charcoal water filter removes impurities from your water, which keeps your brewing components functioning at their best and your coffee tasting great. It should be replaced about once every 60 days, depending on your water hardness.

Cleaning and Maintenance
The SS-1’s durable stainless steel housing is easy to take care of – simply wipe down with a damp cloth when needed. Like the water reservoir and drip tray, the brew cup and brew basket are dishwasher-safe. Pressing the “clean” button allows you to access and clean the internal brewing components, which you should do about twice a month.
