This beautiful polished stainless steel base makes a perfect companion to the Pasquini Livia 90 and Moka Coffee Grinder.  It contains two steel drawers with one drawer containing a removable rubber "knocking bar" so you can knock spent coffee grounds from your portafilter.  The second drawer can be used to store accessories and supplies.  The knocking bar may be placed in either drawer.  Not only does the base add a convenient storage area, but also by placing the Livia 90 on the base, you gain additional inches between the tip of the steam wand and the countertop.  Without the extra room, you are limited to 12 oz. and 20 oz. milk frothing pitchers, while the extra height will allow you to use a 32 oz. pitcher as well.
